Where teams become family
Transforming athletic teams into cohesive families through engaging and impactful team-building sessions.
“The connection these sessions create are a difference maker in close games, they help keep us together in times of adversity, and they build a trust that makes our guys fight harder for each other.”
— TREI OLIVER, HEAD COACH (NC CENTRAL FOOTBALL)

Meet our founder
Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Anthony L. Lewis—better known as “Ant”—is a devoted husband to Kiera Lewis and proud father to Anthony L. Lewis III (“Tripp”). For more than a decade, Ant has served as a speaker, mentor, and culture-builder, committed to helping teams move beyond talent and performance into trust, unity, and purpose. His leadership journey includes roles as a youth director, college ministry director, community outreach director, and long-time Sports Chaplain for the 2022 HBCU National Champion North Carolina Central University Football team.
In 2021, Ant launched Family Night, a transformative team-building experience created to reshape the culture of NCCU Football. More than an event, Family Night gave players a space to be seen, heard, and connected beyond the surface—fostering genuine brotherhood and accountability. The result was a measurable cultural shift that helped propel the program to a championship level. As Ant often says, “They had the scheme—but the culture made the difference.”
Building on that success, Ant developed The Development Loop™, a practical framework designed to help coaches intentionally develop players who are ready to play and lead—now. The Development Loop equips coaches with tools to evaluate and grow the character, competence, and chemistry of their athletes through consistent relationship, clear expectations, and intentional stretch. It turns player development from a feeling into a repeatable process.
Today, through Become Athletics, Ant partners with coaching staffs and athletic programs to deliver team-building experiences, leadership development, and culture systems that last beyond a single season. His work continues to prove one truth: championship teams aren’t built on talent alone—they’re built on trust, development, and family.
